Music Videos

My music videos to date have been created from existing footage, in the public domain. They aim to provide visual stimulation to support the listening experience.

Random - yes, tells a story - maybe, serious - nah!

Buttons

Buttons is the second single from Shark vs Lion's 3rd full length album From Inside.

Anniversary

Anniversary is the first single from Shark vs Lion's third album 'From Inside'. This video is part 1 of a 2 part video series. If you want to find out what happens next, check out the 2nd video below for the song ‘I Know You’.

I Know You

A 90’s grunge tune which features on the album ‘Battle On’. The video is the sequel to the ‘Anniversary’ music video. Will the girl be reunited with the baby dragon - all will be revealed.

As Long as I Breath

A moody tune featuring the very talented Kane Parsons on Piano.

Calling Out the World

As the title suggests this song is pretty deep. Rather than attempting to explain the meaning in a paragraph I have done so through the medium of contemporary ballet dance.

Open Your Eyes (at the same time)

The first single from ‘Battle On’ this song has general themes about people standing by each other. About how we are all human on this earth and are all the same when you boil everything down. We need to open our eyes to other people's views and beliefs and be sympathetic to one another.

The video footage is taken with thanks from 'Sita Sings the Blues' 2008. A romantic tale of a man saving his lovely from one eyed monsters.

Will You Remember?

Superman really is a good bastard. He helps the innocent, the less fortunate and i’m pretty sure he has saved the world a bunch of times. Here we see the great man attempting to save his lovely who has taken it upon herself to fight back against a giant robot who rob’s a jewelry store.

The song is a reminder to remember the ones you love when things get tough and don’t work out as planned.

The Second Moon Mission

The tragic story of the ill fated second moon landing. These brave explorers come across a force they don’t understand in a land that is not their own. Three tragically lose their lives, one human, one alien and another human who has rabies and a mild temperature.

Hold Me Now

An atmospheric song that required dancing and colour to provide a visual representation of the music. A personal song written about my life with my lovely wife.

Regret & Hope

A tragic event born from a young boy with lots of enthusiasm and no supervision turns to hope, when the boy realises the consequences of his actions and seeks redemption. Yup this one is deep.

An instrumental tune featuring my Uncle, Alan Crawford on bass guitar. Still got the chops aye Big Boy!

We’ve Had Enough

You know what? I just thought I needed to have some dinosaurs in the mix. A song about how we have little battles with each other which can spiral out of control unnecessarily.

Closer to the Flame

A happy go lucky, plump bunny is busy minding his own business when he is senselessly attacked after witnessing the murder of his pal Mr Butterfly. How does he react to such injustice? Why full Commando styles of course.

An instrument track with punk, grunge and indie influences. Well that’s what I think, what do you reckon?

The Better Man

A good old fashion western punch up telling the story of a good old fashion western punch up. The new guy in town could not let an injustice pass so he taught a man a little life lesson in front of his cheering pals.

A pretty straight up rock song about that guy at the party who thinks he is too cool for school.

Check out the full album.
